DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
DEADLINE: Friday, October 11, 2019

The City of Fennville seeks applicants to fill a full-time position in the Department of Public Works (DPW). Under the general supervision of the DPW Foreman an Equipment Operator operates light and heavy equipment and provides general labor in support of a wide range of public works maintenance; performs repairs and construction projects including streets and sidewalks, water and sewer systems, wastewater treatment lagoon, parks, fleet maintenance, buildings, grounds, horticulture/forestry and related work.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must have a current Michigan Driver’s License and the ability to acquire a Michigan Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within six months of hire. All applicants must be able to pass a complete background check.
